Replacement of outdated backpressure turbogenerator unit (TGU) with high-efficiency full factory ready TGU
The sugar factory approached RUSTRADE LLC with a request whether it was possible to replace the existing turbogenerator unit operating in parallel with PRV with a new high-efficiency steam turbine with increased power while maintaining the same steam flow to the TGU.
The customer was confident that it would not be possible to find an economically efficient replacement, since the plant operates only 5000 hours per year.
